All questions and inquiries may be addressed to nsavage@savagedance.net. ** SDC IS MOVING TO A NEW LOCATION!! As rumors begin to fly, I thought I would jump in and confirm that "YES. . . Savage Is Moving!" After more then a year of searching for the right new location, my husband and I have found a wonderful facility for the future of Savage Dance Company! The new facility will be located just 1 minute from our current studio, across Klee's Mill on Enterprise Drive in Sykesville. The space is huge! While the construction of the new facility is currently underway, the official move will happen in mid-June. Indeed, the new facility doubles our current dance space. With pride, I share with you that our new facility will be equipped with 5 dance studios with professional flooring, mirrors and surround sound, one private vocal studio, a large open waiting room, hall access to all studios with an observation window for each studio, kitchen, three bathroom facilities, and a student study hall. In fact, while all of the studios are greater in size than our current space, one of the studios is more than 1500 square feet allowing for easy rehearsal for large productions and the opportunity to better host master classes each month! We are currently working on a pdf plan and schematic of our new studio which will soon be made available. We are also pleased to note that Carol Love has leased a space next to the dance facility where she will be operating and maintaining a dance and fitness apparel store. Thus, this will allow all of our dancers close proximity to all of their needs for the upcoming years. While the move is cvertainly exciting, the reality of the transition is bitter sweet for me. I have MORE than enjoyed my 8 years at our current facility at the Abar Shopping Center. However, with so many wonderful clients and families supporting my dreams, our current space is "popping" at the seams and this move was necessary to fulfill the demands of the dance community. It is time to move and allow for additional growth. I thank all of you for your continued support, and am looking forward to making and capturing new memories in our expanded, new Savage facility!
